Fresh Air Exhaust

Just bought a 99' X-star and have it set up for surfing. I am toying with the idea of a fresh air exhaust system. Pro's / Con's and systems you use would be helpful!:

Lots of people like it, I didnt and sold mine. Lots of spray, white wash, and drag. It did make the ride quieter

I have it on my 08 x45 and for surfing on a non cat motor I donít see how you could surf all day with out one. Itís nice to push that exhaust back away for you when your surfing. It does mess with the wave a bit and yes allot of spray at speed, but Wakesurf speed itís ok.
