Did MasterCraft ever make water skis?

My son picked up an old ski and put bindings on backwards to do slalom backward ATB. I took pictures of him skiing on it backward the other day. Later on when I was looking at my pictures I noticed the ski had the MasterCraft logo on it. I was wondering if this was maybe a decal someone stuck on there or if MasterCraft made skis at some point in the past. I haven't seen them before if MasterCraft does (or did) make them.

I don't have a picture of the ski all by itself but here is a picture in the water.

I know back in the 80's they made or had made slalom skis, both Bob and Chris LaPoint skied on them but the nose looks different.....

MasterCraft had branded ski's, competition, vests, ropes and handles manufactured back in the early "80's to early '90's and they were marketed and sold thru the ProShop. I got two 67" ski blanks from MC back in 1991 on a visit to the factory. I know members Ski King and kas have some ski's, handles and vest in their collections. I keep a Team MasterCraft handle on a World Line as a utility ski rope and the handle is still our daughters favorite.

I don't know for sure how to tell if it's a jumper, but when Ben was talking about turning a ski into something that he could use for backward ATBs he said he was going to use an old jumper. I'm assuming it was this ski. When I zoom in tight on the original picture I see the number 72 at the tip of the ski. I don't know if that means anything. He isn't home right now for me to ask.

Probably an old MC jumper. 72 would mean the ski is 72 inches long, the standard for jumpers back in the day. Old jumpers never die, they just turn into flip turn skis. (backwards around the boat or more commonly for back barefooting).
