Did the same a few weeks back, only it was a rock pile. Ended up replacing the prop, cutlass bearing, and strut. Insurance took care of it.

Iíll probably get insurance involved. The fiberglass damage is definitely from the prop you can see the cut marks. Gonna contact insurance company and get her fixed up. Running out of season and I want to get back out there!! Thanks guys!

Question, if you report to insurance you risk, cancellation and increased premiums correct?

Also is it possible the cuts in the fiberglass were from debris hitting the hull?

Mine didnt... I suppose anything is possible... if you know you have a good prop on there and there is still vibrations I would think something else is going on. That is the worst part being out of a boat and all. I need to find a policy that gives you a rental just like an auto policy! I'm sure it would be a 19 foot bayliner...
