Lake mead is the closest. Twenty five minutes from my house. Havasu is not far. Lake Powell is about six hours away.

Make sure he gave you double lipped seals. Some of the trailer shops have single lipped seals that will let water in. Here is a link of what the double lipped seal looks like.

You going out this weekend?

Yeah he gave me double lipped ones. Probably going out. I just got a ski trainer for my son so thought I'd either go out or find a swimming pool and pull him around in it. my brother in law has a swimming pool but not sure of the temp! probably no warmer than the lake! Are you going out?

oh, and edit: I'm not 100% sure if they are double lipped. They are exactly like the old ones (not that the last person in there knew what he/she was doing lol) and there are two lips, but the lips are different heights, with the inner one being a little taller (and more compressible) than the outer one.

I use to visit the area 3-4x per year on business. I never cared for the strip but stayed in hotel rooms there because they were generally nicer than off strip. Always hated having to cross the smoke filled casinos on the way in/out of the hotel. Then typically my company has held one or more of their conferences there yearly and people from work always want to frequent the smoke filled casinos - not my scene at all.

Sounds like to me that you got double-lip. Always nice to be able to confirm the part numbers though.

Probably be out Sunday AM until about 2PM I be around Sandy Cove part of the time. Or look for me in Rotary Cove. I'll keep an eye out for ya.

Red and white with a red tower? I'll be looking.

Edit: that's funny I cruise past sandy cove all the time -- hadn't had a chance to learn what it was called though! And Rotary is the next one in line or so. Sandy cove is where everybody gets lined up, right?
