Sirius connect for CMD4

I have a CLA-SC1 module that connects to a CMD4 and portable Sirius tuner.

The CLA-SC1 allows the CMD4 to control the external (likely portable) Sirius tuner from the remotes and head unit. I had one of these go out the '06 that we have since sold. At that time, I discovered that they were no longer made. It took a while to find them on e-bay/craigslist/internet shopping. So when I did find them, I bought 2 (one to replace my broken one and a spare). Well when I sold the boat, I kept the spare.

This unit alone will not get you Sirius, you will need a SiriusXM tuner as well, this unit gives you the ability to control the SiriusXM tuner to the CMD4 and thus control it.

$20 + shipping.

I have NOT used this one, the package is opened and taped up. I have no way to test this as I don't own a boat with a CMD4. if you get it and it does not work, I will refund the cost - so you are only out the shipping cost for the risk (I am not going to jack up shipping). I am pretty sure the CLA-SC1 works - but wanted to be honest about not testing it. I think originally new they are $50-$80. I have seen some jerks trying to get $200 for them since they are rare. Having said that, I just found them at Amazon for $70 - (they were not there 2 years ago!)

A good question Fox197. I too have wondered if I could get my Clarion tuner working on the satellite mode. Mine is model CMD6 tuner and the manual says that my unit can control the following satellite receivers: XM satellite interface adapter (mini tuner included) CNP 2000 UC and Clarion cable CNPCLA1.
I wonder if the Team Talk family can help us understand if I did have these components connected would it work here in New Zealand? Is it likely this part would work on mine even though not the exact Clarion model?
Sorry Kscrib for the thread jack! GLWS

I did some google searching and although I found nothing official from SiriusXM on their site, I did find a handful of post that says that the Sirius satellites only transmit when they are over the continental US. So, my guess is that it SiriusXM would not work in AUS.

Yes, I believe it's only US.

Plus Apple Music is much better option.
