Best practice for bolting things (battery box) to floor?

I need to secure a 2nd battery box to the floor under my bow, and wondering what the best practice is before I start punching holes through fiberglass. Does this compromise the integrity of the underlying panel at all?

Just wondering how the rest of you get the nerve/confidence to drive a screw down through the floor.

I think the only thing I have screwed to the "floor" (inside bottom of the boat) are the two bilge pumps. I haven't look but I would imagine the under floor ballast tanks are screw to it as well but I'm betting where something is screwed to the floor MC made that area thicker or has reenforcing built into it.

"Heavy" beer is for wine drinkers that are too embarrassed to drink wine in front of their buddies. "Light" beer is a drinkin' man's beer!
