It is if that's the boat you're looking for and from a "what you're getting for your dollar" perspective. That model never did very well as it was made to be a model that performed like an inboard but has the room of an I/O. Great concept but it never went over well probably because it looked like an I/O. They probably would have been much further ahead had they stuck with the sun lounger/bench seat design. I've seen several of these come up over the past few years only to languish on the various sites and ultimately drop their price to where boats 5 years older are being sold.

The up side on a boat like this is if you like it you got a super boat very cheap. The down side is that you're also pretty much stuck with a model that is not popular. Ultimately you'll end up selling cheap or face the same issue the PO did where you can't move the boat without giving it away.

I didn't like the 14V compared to the 14DD from day one. But it did fairly well for a few years. There was a period when the 14DD had very little resale interest. (I experienced it) And now there is a very good resale market for the 14DD. And if I were buying a used boat, it wouldn't be a 2012.

Yeah the there's that too. Especially if you went with the touch screen.

Never skied one so I couldn't comment on performance but they never really caught on up here and remember our dealer having one in in stock for well over a year.
