You would think that the guy operating the video camera might have said something...

a little fuzzy, but does not the starboard vessel have the right of way in open waters meaning the camera man's vessel was required to give way?

When two vessels approach each other head on both must alter course and go to the right and give each vessel plenty of space. If two vessels approached each other at a right angle then the vessel on the right always has right of way.

Easy to remember as it is the same with cars. At a 4-way stop person to your right always has right of way.

Is this real? I watched this at least 20 times in slow-mo and noticed that no one gets thrown down at impact. Seems as if there was enough speed to throw someone down. Also notice that there is a guy on the stern deck within 1 foot of the edge that never seems to be interested in the impact or even move from impact. What does anyone else think?

The guy in the corner fell, and you can see all the people move when the boats hit.

seriously..... with the background of absolutely nothing around for miles and they hit each other in the open ocean??? The big boat with the camera must be huge as it just kept going and the smaller boat did almost a 180 when it got hit.
