Des Moines Iowa - Got a boat, looking for riders

Got the boat out last night on Rathbun for the first time this year. Wasn't planning on it, but the water was glass, so I skied for a bit. Put in at Honey Creek resort boat ramp because I didn't figure it would be busy and its the closest to where I store the boat. Skied on the main body ... love when we can do that. We might be heading out this weekend, but the in-laws are in town, so I am not sure.

What boat storage place do you use? The ones up the road from the honey creek state park entrance?

I keep it at "The Cave". Maybe a mile before the Honey Creek Resort entrance, and about a mile and a half before the BIG town of Iconium.

Well it was an interesting day. All the ramps closed and hail the diamter of a quarter. I'm glad I was working in a garage

We'll be camping at the South Fork campground at Rathbun this weekend. Anyone else going to be around?

We're actually going to the ozarks or I'd hit ya up. Maybe next time man.

NP, we are there pretty well every weekend, haha. Nothing else to do in southeast iowa during the summer.
