Hey TPH, where did ya get that rub rail on your blue S&S? Our boat looks like the Red metal flake one in your bottom pic. I like the all black rub rail. looks very clean.

I replaced the OEM three piece aluminum rail with a one piece high impact rail that American Skier was using on their boats in the '90's. In came in a 50' roll and had to be installed with a heat gun. What a project!

You can use rivets or screws. I went with stainless screws and used washers and nylock nuts where ever I could get good access to the inside of the hull/deck joint. It's held up great for years.
