Off my initial topic...what block is this 6.0l Ilmor? I'm assuming a GM block.

Pretty sure it's GM. Might be their LS series block.

I have a 2012 X45 Closed Cooling in South Louisiana. We havent really ad any hard freezes yet but im trying to decide if i need to winterize or not? I dont live right by where the boat is stored.

Do I even need to winterize a closed Cooling Syetem? If antifreeze is in the block and stuff that would have a lower frrezing point than a non closed cooling. Anyone have advice for this

Have any of you switched the thermostat in the Ilmor to a 160? I thought I read on here somewhere that perhaps MC/Ilmor were even doing this now?? Did I dream this?

drain your exhaust manifolds as they take in raw water i believe, and i pump rv antifreeze into my ballast, usually about 3 gallons.
