2006 X2

Is there a rebuild kit for this? If so, what is the part number?
Thanks in advance
Chris

My wheel has a lot of play.I took the tilt apart and found the bushing were warn.I contacted Teleflex send them a pic of the bushings,They responded. They won't sell just the bushings because of safety....bla,bla.So I would have to buy the complete tilt assembly same in your pic.

you can tighten the helm a bit - or you can just replace the front part of the mechanism for a bit over $100 - http://www.starmarinedepot.com/telef...FatAMgodO0sAXw

I think you may be referring to the sound of the pinion moving across the rack which is normal if there are no binds or skipping in the operation. I've noticed this mostly if the boat is out of the water and turn the wheel quickly. That is to say if we're both referring to the same noise.
