Can someone let me know if this is the water pump rebuild kit I need?

You should get the kit with the bearing as well... they have the bearing on inboardonline.com

So after following the Naughty thread there was a point that came up about SeaDek in place of carpet might not be a good idea. Talking about foot smells, hard to clean and easy to stain.

What truth is there to this?

I just called SeaDek and they claimed they have ever in all there years business had 2 complaints about smell. And it involved people who regularly brought their animals with them.

So I went ahead and ordered the Mylar template sheets so I can send back my custom order.

I've got SeaDek all over and have never had any smell from it. I've got it on my trailer, platform and driver's cockpit floor.

Thanks Sodar. I'm stoked to get my carpet replaced. That is what smells in my boat. I think the SeaDek will solve my smell problem not create one.

I am interested to see how this turns out for you. My carpet is getting quite brittle and will likely need replaced before too long, and I have thought about the seadek as a replacement.

Are you just going to pull the carpet up and put seadeak on the bare fiberglass?
