So this setup still leaves you with an attached floor piece to the hood until you lift it out of the boat. Is that your intent? The nylon nuts or most others will not allow you to seperate the two pieces while in the boat. Just asking....it's jimmy crack corn to me...

I was just asking about what type of screws are used in floor section as mine are missing. I like your idea of redoing the floor and attachment method, however, I have bigger fish to fry right now.

I'l try and redo the small front section though.
