Torsion spring Adjustment ?

Anybody ever tried to adjust the hub on a torsion spring axel? From what I understand each spline adjustment equals 3/4 inch adjustment. Was wondering if this will get me the 1/2 inch clearance I need on the garage?

Be cautious how low you go on the pressure. Tires have a liner on the inner layer and you can crack it if you go too low.
