Good to see he is back in the market, that means we will see you guys at the 2014 Buckeye Bash!!!
I would give Chris at BoatHouse Marine a call (www.bhmtrilakes.com) and see what he has coming in or knows of out there as he typically knows about boats going up for sale before the owner even knows they are selling!

I've owned both and both were mated to the MCX and in my opinion, I do not see a big difference unless you are pulling multiples. If you tend to pull a lot of doubles, triples or more, I think the slot provides a better holding power. That being said, there is a lot you can do with the right prop.

As for the price on the boat, think the moon and then go a little higher!!! I like paid for and with the price of the new ones that I would replace it with, well, I would not be able to claim that for a very long time! I do know of a guy in the New England area selling my a 40th with the 1:1 and he has less hours than mine. Not sure what he wants for it but if you want his contact info let me know and I will pass it along in a pm.

Understand about being paid for... and with the price of new prostars that's an expensive 197 lol. We can afford the moon... but come'on higher? REally??? Haha

Thanks for the feedback. If you wouldn't mind passing along the iinfo, my father-in-law would appreciate it.

Jbrew, jkski forgot to mention that his 40th is spoken for!! by me! In all seriousness, I don't think he is allowed to sell it!!

Chris had a 197 possibly coming in when I was at BHM a few weeks ago. Good advice.

So JBrew turns to TT for some honest advice and you vultures start preying on the nearest 197 you can find?

Let's get back to the main topic ....... why is JKSKI selling my 40th anniversary boat? He can't sell that thing without a mini-tower and we all know that his piggy bank is still recovering from the mansion he just built ....

JBrew - good luck ... I am sure there will be a lot of 197 out there especially with the new Prostar hitting demos next year for highly elite skiers ... so check in with Chris at Tri-Lakes and he will know of a few TT boats coming back in ....

DoubleD - wouldn't you just bust up the trailer on the 197 anyway?
