It's at a fiberglass shop now, they have done all the work and will start the metal flake gel coat as soon as I tell them what I want. He has entered boats in numerous shows and plans on using 7 lbs of flake and putting nine coats of clear. What do you guys think of going black to where the water line starts, then white to where it ends. Start the red flake at top of water line to the rub rail. Leave the cap white with the bow being red flake? Thoughts and help are appreciated. Automotive paint, bondo and holes in the gel is the reason I am going through this process.
