Tumble turns. I've since learned to keep the handle at the waist and now I'm quicker and not so exhausted from the pull back.

What speed are you guys moving at? I'm 215 lbs and ski at 41. I can go 5-6 miles at the longest. Want to get into a barefoot race next year and wondering your thoughts.

To each their own I suppose, but this strikes me as stupid. Every footer has caught a toe and seen a few stars after the unexpected crash. A crash at 40+ mph would seriously hurt that kid.

I'm all for cool barefoot pictures, and introducing kids to the sport to keep it from fading away in the wakeboard world we live in. As a father of a 6-year old who barefoots, this stunt should be left to two adults in my opinion.

If all goes well, cool picture. Too big of risk though for little reward.
