Remove steering wheel on a Tristar.
I need to remove the steering wheel on my 1989 Master Craft Tristar 190, does the centre of the steering wheel pop off, remove a nut and use a puller? or is there some other way.

Super easy. Simply and carefully pry the center cap out of the center of the wheel. Under that are 3 bolts. Remove those. Then there is a nut on a splined shaft. Take off that nut. Pull off wheel. No puller or any other tool needed.

1, remove center cap with a hook or small screwdriver, pull straight aft, 2, then there is a large nut and 3 smaller bolts, remove all 4 then steering wheel will come straight off. No need for a puller its not splined on our models.

no need to remove the three small bolts under the center cap. Just remove the big nut on the splined shaft....I just removed the steering wheel yesterday.
