Axle placement should be different. V-drive axle should be farther to the rear of the trailer than a direct drive. With the engine and trans being much heavier than any other part of the boat, it should have the axle under that part of the boat. Axle placement on a V-drive is similar to that of an outboard.

Yes, it's still available. Been too busy to post it on Craigslist.

The trailer is still available. Some interest but no lookers. This is a solid trailer and IMO a good deal. Will be posted on Craigslist locally this weekend.

I thought so too, but from looking at my trailer, its looks similar. Juiced190, if you want to measure the distanc of the rear axle from the end of the trailer iI'll compare to my 205v trailer.

Sounds like a simple answer.

That would be something nice to have to rent out... for people who want to refurb their trailer... but where to find the space.. such a great price

Excellent idea Budman! I'm willing to bet a cold Bud there's no difference. I'll measure tomorrow and post up asap.

Budman, it's 79" from the center of the axle to the end of the trailer (prop guard). I'm anxious to see what the measurement of your 205V trailer is. Thanks

Is this trailer still available and do you think it would fit a 1985 star and stripes?
