Yeah, I thought it was a photoshop prank. A ton of money for a really great ski boat and a $50 fishing boat seat for the driver? What the hell is MC thinking?

I thought I read on BOS that the drivers seat was a prototype. If you think about it how could it not be be a prototype? Driver seats in ski boats have always had significant side bolster support. The seat is unsafe without it.

You can all relax, they are still working on a couple things last time I inquired and the drivers seat was one of those items.

That's odd. It's unlike Mastercraft to release something before it's completely ready. Interesting.

Funny, but "official" release is in October.

Yes, the proto seat pictured looks like it needs more side bolster, but it at least it has the adjustable recline they talked about unlike those cheap seats, or anyone else's driver seat for that matter.

I'll keep looking and waiting.

In the meantime, when I select "World Competition Slalom Ski" in the "Help me Choose" area, I get 9 boats that meet this criteria (X46, X55 and XStar) to name a few. That doesn't seem anything close to a PS214v or the new Prostar type category. Am I missing something?
