I just bought a 2007 x45 saltwater series boat and going to get it next week I found a beautiful black and white one with only 275 hours on the crusader 8.1 HO power plant. This boat has all possible options and has seen only fresh water use. Closed cooling system boats are very easy to winterize as basically you do not have to do anything to them... I chose this boat because it had the big engine and it was the crusader model which should be basically the best engine money can buy. This is not based on personal experience, but information that I dog up from web. Very easy engines to access important service locations around the engines and reliable. I hope the one I chose is also a diamond rather than a lemon. Wish me luck I ordered the tower braces formthe boat as the previous owner did not even know that mc did this upgrade to get rid of the shakes. Good luck with your search. Go with the biggest engine you can find.
