I had mine shipped to me via uship, everything went smooth. I did not accept the lowest bid by any means, but opted for someone with a bunch of feedback that regularly moves boats. In the end, I couldn't drive there and back for cheaper than what I paid, plus the time factor.

I have done both the u-ship and drive out and get it. I bought a ski boat off e-bay in tennesee and paid 750 to get it to Minnesota with u-ship went very smooth I was impressed the guy kept calling me with updates to his location . I bought an off shore cat in long island and tried to rent a truck one way to get it home , U-Haul was the only company that would allow this but when I heard the price I told the woman I only wanted to rent the truck not buy it. professional boat transport companies are way to expensive for something small like a ski boat
