help

I have a 1997 pro star lt1 , the boat runs great but if I run and stop it seems to heat soak and will start but runs bad almost won't run , If after I stop running it and lift the engine box open it will run great the next time I start , that's how I ran it all weekend it seems its not overheating , any one have this kind of issue?

Check your t-stats, and let it idle a bit before you stop - to minimize heat soak spike... there are a bunch of threads here on this issue.

Any other work done lately

Have you also checked the thermostats, there is 2, The top one is a drilled 160 degree and the middle one just above the water impellor is a 140 degree, but your symptoms sounds like the rear vent tube being clogged. This mod should work it out
