x25 Wake Problem

I just bought a new x25 a couple of weeks ago and am having a problem with the wake. The boat has the factory ballast as well as I had installed 450 lbs bag in each of the two back lockers. When I fill all up to 100% including the center tank, the wake is not clean at all when wakeboarding pulling me at 19 mph. I have the middle plate and surf tabs a -0-. Any tips on how to make the wake a little cleaner when wakeboarding? Thanks

I would suggest some extra weight up front.

You are way to rear-end heavy. Don't use those extra tanks in the rear for anything but surfing. Just fill stock you'll be fine. Otherwise throw a 750 in the bow walkway.

Too much rear weight. And considering the wake that a 25 puts out on stock ballast, I would suggest simply emptying the rear sacks.

Same as everyone has said plus remember that most times you add more weight you need to increase you speed. I have found 19mph to be a little flow when adding additional weight past stock ballast. Just another thing to check.

So would you say fill the side tanks at 50% and the middle tank at 100% as the side tanks are plumbed to the extra bags. Also what speed would you suggest? I am 6'5 195.

Have you ridden in without any ballast yet? That would be a good starting point, to determine where you need to go. The 25 had an awesome wake at 2122 mph with no ballast, even better with just kgb ballast filled.

I did, however I was looking for a bigger wake. However, I did not just fill the kgb yet, I will try that next weekend as well to see how that works. As for the middle tab would you just leave that up or would you mess with that as well. Granted the extra 900lbs helped with surfing but for wakeboarding or kneeboarding was not crisp at all and I really did not like it at all.
