Test surfed 210 and x10 today

Both great boats. I really liked the layout of the x10, but I really liked the surf set up of the 210. Wave was very close. Both steep and long wave, but x10 needed a lot more weight than the 210. Both within 5k of each other. Tough choice, leaning a bit 210 but I've always been a MC guy. I'm thinking that my brand loyalty is making my choice tougher than it should be for my family's needs. They handled well in rough water. The MC finishing was a bit better IMO and I'm very comfortable with MC controls.

Dealer did confirm a G21 coming this year. I just don't have the $ for one, nor the space or boatlift capacity. They figured it to be in the 5400 dry weight and 115K CDN range.

Plus, with Martin Motorsports there now, you know you've got a dealer with a great service track record.

Stick with what feels right - go with the MC. You can always add weight, but you can't add fit/finish. The new MC dash and interiors are the best on the market right now, IMO.

the new cc 210 have been added to their website. looks pretty close to there last 210.

don't take this wrong, I know the wake and quality of the boat is important but I just cannot get on board with the looks of all nautique boats.

my next boat will either be a x25, x30 or for surf only a centurion enzo. and I doubt the enzo will happen.

Two great boats. This is the definition of a first world problem. I haven't been in the new model of either, but recent models are both amazing. Sacrilege I know, but boats of very comparable quality. Check with the family, they'll tell you which one.

yeah its a 2014 210. I really liked them both. I guess I can't go wrong really. The CC dealer is very good though. How much weight does that actually have for you guys. Dealer vs dealer, hands down the CC

The dealer is huge to me. The warranty is only as good as the dealer doing the service.
