Boater Education Online Courses

Do any of you have any experience with the 3 online courses that Texas allows for Boater Education? One of our kiddos is old enough to take the class.

Boaterexam, Boat-Ed, and BoatUS

Thanks!

I took the online Boat Ed course from the Texas Wildlife and Fisheries site. Took a couple of hours. Don't recall the cost as I took it two years ago. Found it to be a good in depth course. You can also order the DVD version with the Texas Boaters Ed books.

I too took the BoatUS Course via TPWD a good while back, it's free and meets all TX requirements for operators born after 1993 and 13 yrs old to operate a watercraft or PWC in TX.
I'm not sure why anyone would pay for one of the other 2 courses that charge.
