Ingram Barge Lines? I used to work for WKN as a deckhand 20+ years ago (Gallipolis was still 600'). M/V Daniel Webster on the Ohio and M/V Bill McCormick on the Illinois.

They have probably both been sold/renamed by now.

So... is that large shroud around the prop in your photo part of the boat? If so, how did the blade get bent?

The logo on your tug looks familiar.. I believe I have seen it on the illinois river near morris. how long does it take you to run the illinois from the mississippi to dresden lock?

What did happen to prop - big asian carp? Or did it eat an asian jet ski ?

Yes I run from STL to lemont, it takes about 4-5 days from STL to Morris, I ended up running through Morris last year during corn fest? At about 930-10pm at night with the 100's of boats in the channel!! Ill keep my eye out for your 205.

I think we sucked a log or a bouy into it, the metal kortnozzel around the prop is great for thrust in deep water but in the shallow it acts like a vacuum.

Hey as long as we have your attention.. I often see something in the water hanging off the bow bow on the barges... Is that some type of sensor? Depth? forward sonar?

Yep depth sounders, big changes when your swinging 1000' of barges around, they come in handy on the IL river.
