Goes by way toooo fast! We have no more kids in k through 12. Kids are adults now. However it is pretty cool to sit down and have a beer with your son and just talk! Oldest is 25 and lives a couple miles away. Pretty cool!

Dropped my oldest daughter off at college on Monday. I told her I had raised her for this day and explained that her past achievements in high school, of which there were many didn't mean a thing - the world is waiting to punch you in the mouth so be ready to punch back; and that she was smart, talented, beautiful and the world was her's to explore. Not sure when she'll be back on the boat with me, but I will be interested to she how much she's changed during that time.

All I know is my "car buddy" seems to leave me with lots of dings, dents and mysterious breakdowns on my hotrod! I was sorry to see them go, but my gear sure lasts longer not drivne like its stolen...I envy them being able to thrash stuff knowing the "repair fairy" will dip the bucket into the well and pay for it all the run for another big nite!!!!
