Sorry about the slow reply. No I pull it everytime. And wash and rinse and wipe and oil every use. It's a well made boat. But in order to keep the interior, electrics and anything metallic looking respectable means a lot of work. I'd say about 10hrs cleaning for every 50 on the water. Good products. A power washer. And elbow grease. Committed.

Last boat was a performance boat and use to take it out on the S.F. Bay to watch the offshore races. Just for a few hours there would be so much salt grime everywhere. I am OCD so i planned the cleaning as part of your day. When you forget to plan is when things got ugly. After cleaning I would spray down my out drives and gear with WD40 and left it on.

Great info guys...X30 SS is what I've settled on...spoke to MC and they made me quite comfortable the engineering of the boat and the durability of the SS package. Just gotta get comfortable with the price now!

I have an x2 salt water.
Great boat. Handles the salt great.
As long as you invest an hour of your time after you use it you'll have no issues.
