No modifications were made to the cooler at all. The batteries fit in just fine and there is no need for anything else but dropping them in and hooking up the wires.

Tay197 did the same set up with his '92 190 before he sold it. He had duralast batteries. I don't know if the battery size was different but he did not need to modify anything either.

I chose not to use battery boxes because it was like putting 2 boxes in one box. Kind of unnecessary to me.

I always wondered about the battery by the gas tank on my 93. This looks like an easy relocation project and would make a great slalom wake even better!
