I came up behind a Southwind 18 like that on Hwy 412 this spring. As I recall, the tow vehicle had Texas plates.

That was my dad, pulled it back with a white 2012 ford. Not sure if he used the expedition or f350. Bought it up in north somewhere but came back through Arkansas. It was a few months back.

That's pretty crazy, I saw your Dad. I remember the prop on that boat looking tiny under there and wondering what the boat was. I made sure to remember "Southwind 18" so I could Google it.

From my browser history and past work schedule, I saw him on June 13th.

This is where I stored my recently departed boat. It is just a few minutes from the boat ramp and allowed me to leave the bimini top and boards up as we never exceeded 35mph.
I really liked having lights, electricity for the onboard battery charger and year-round access. I didn't love the gravel floor but at $1300/yr it was reasonable for me. Sure not as cheap as you can get in TN, but way better than my forever-reference-point, California. And much easier to navigate than the first post in this long thread.

Do warehouses count? :-) Here are a few grainy shot's from a business I launched right when the economy took a ****. Apparently people weren't looking to buy into a motoring club in 2008. Go figure! Photos were taken with an iPhone 3G, hence the crappy quality. Last shot is of the Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse we had for our prospective members to utilize. Captain'ed of course! Man, that was a sweet boat!
