Just took delivery of my new toy. 1963 Austin Mini Cooper 'S'. An absolute blast to drive! It has been meticulously restored and is set up for vintage racing while still remaining street legal. Snapped this shot so you can see how small it is compared to my Rover.

That looks to be in great shape. How many miles on it? Curious to know tire size too?

Yes, the car is immaculate. 59,000 original miles on the clock. Car was originally RHD but was converted to LHD which disappoints me a bit, but oh well. Tires are Yokohama A008's, 165/70/10 which is the tire most classic Mini owners run. The motor has been bored out to 1380cc, 12.5:1 compression, flowed/ported/polished head, sidedraft Weber 40DCOE, race cam, stainless header with no mufflers, external oil filter w/external cooler, Koni adjustables, roll bar. It is a little hot rod. Motor is blueprinted and dyno'ed at 125hp at the flywheel. Car is just shy of 1500lbs with me in it.

If you have an affinity for English cars like I do, here are a few more photo's for you to enjoy. An assortment of some of the vehicles my father and I have had the pleasure of owning over the last few years...Oh, and there's some Italian trash in there too ;-)

Always liked the lotus seven - you two seem to like your cars! (Range Rover over a Lexus LX570, Really?)

I'm not a Japanese car guy, plus I'm partial to Land Rover. I'm sure the Lexus is a good performer, just not my cup of tea. I prefer something a little more modern. I'm on my 5th Range Rover and the repair facility I operate specializes in Land Rover and Jaguar repair plus all other English and Italian marques ;-) Interior of a LX compared to my Rover... I'll take the Rover!
