Agreed, 99.999% of the time there is no problem BUT wait til Water Patrol rolls up on a boat load dancing in a line or shuttling back to the dock. You want all you can prove on the plate.

True, the plate is irrelevant over 20' but it gives WP enough Probable Cause to harass which is all that is needed to buzz kill a day.
Yes, CG did revise their numbers as I pointed out earlier.
Many people (captains and LEO) are unaware of the true regulations which fuel the problem.
Besides that, for MC, its all about liability. If they plated no more than XX (bow or toal) and the operator had more, then MC have one more defense.
In the end its all about the lawyers, judge, jury and $$$.

Offer an economical alternative with quality build and not all the electronic crap that drives up price and fails 6yr down the road.
Show me what you got Z.
Wake on!

Took the X46 out on the water today for a surf session. Came back with mixed reviews. Boat is a total dream. I still have a love/hate of the interior in the back.

the first two pictures are with factory ballast at 22mph for the wake board wake.

The surf pictures are with Port locker full, KGB, and surf tab deployed @ 10mph

Picture surfting was with additional 750lbs and 3 adults and 3 children on the Port side.

that wave looks nice and long, does it just lack push or what? Wondering why the mixed reviews. What's the love hate on the rear seats? I'm guessing that black gel gets hotter than heck in the Texas sun.

I personally thought it lacked the push. Don't get me wrong we didn't have a whole lot of weight in it. I am told that with the same amount of weight the 30 is sick. The wave was nice and long, and I'm sure we could have moved the rider back some too.

The black gel coat was hot as hell. The rear seats were loved by my wife and daughter. The only problem I saw with it is that there is not a whole lot of storage under those seats, and the make it hard to sit next to anyone back there. Again, I love the redesigned interior but I may just like the interior of the old model even more now.
