I had the epidural injection yesterday late afternoon. He said it would be 1-3 days before I knew if it was going to work. I was able to get up this morning without yelling out or spewing expletives so that's a good thing. I have drugs to take for pain and muscle spasms, but I'm trying to not overdo it on those. My left upper leg is going numb now.

I went to my first physical therapy appointment this morning for an evaluation. They seemed (for the most part) positive they could get me back into a normal routine soon. They are going to start me on traction and she said she could probably fix the numbness in my leg with the PT and traction. We'll see.

I've moved out of the doom and gloom outlook and am trying to stay more positive. See my face --> .

Sounds like things are going in the right direction. Traction feels good in my experience. Had a PT gal working my leg over like a starving dog gnawing on a bone one time. It was quite an experience. Remember to follow all the PT instructions to the letter. I had great results with the PT following my neck surgery by doing everything and asking for more (sometimes getting told not to do more).

After what I went through Saturday morning, I won't miss a chance to take a Dr's or PT's advice.
I'm looking forward to the traction.

Thanks
