engine serial #

i have a '96 205 sammy duvall w/ corvette LT1, anyone know where i can find the engine serial # ? Would Mastercraft have this info?

Earlier Indmar engines had the # on one of the valve covers (intake side)

I had the same question and same engine. It is supposed to be cast into the block, but I could never find mine there. It is also on a sticker on the alternator bracket. Mine has a bar code and the number. I had to give a picture of it to the state for my title. Had to make a special trip home for it. Crazy.
