For us Loudoun is perfect due to the location. We live in West Knoxville so the lake is only a 5 minute drive for us which is very nice. It can get crowded on the weekends but there are plenty of coves you can duck into to escape the madness.

Gopro Rope Mount

I know everyone would like to get great footage with a gopro while out at the lake.. If you do not have anyone willing to ride in a tube while you jib around this is a sweet option.

I am looking to license it / get industry support.. hit me up if your interested...

I've used a home made handle mount that has made for some good gopro footage. We used approx 3-4 ft of PVC to get the best field of view. Here are a few screen shots from some video footage I took last year.

Sorry... Been there, done that. Do NOT mount a GoPro to the headboard.

The action is mostly nonexistent - a lot of "still life" shots. That's great if you're a basket of fruit, but it's a depressing way to document your life. On the rare occasion something happens within camera view, the wide angle lens makes everything look much less impressive than you remembered in person. It sounds like a great idea until you see the footage (or should that be inchage?).

I have made some tweaks to the setup since that footage so it was an older setup. Little tweaks seem to make it better.. some make it a little worse.. so working out some details along the way..

Check this out.. tried it on the tube as well..

I have some other good stuff on youtube follow ZENXTENINC to see the latest..
