I'd highly recommend not using these on a boat period the reaction with heat will cause more problems in the long run than you want. Especially on seats speaking from experience on this one.

atlfootr, were those marks from your trailer guides?

BTW, let's get some oil on those teak platforms!

The chemical in the pad had some reaction to heat. Cleaned my boat up really good before I left for vacation last year put the cover on came back and my Upholstry was red. Then cleaned some scuff marks off the rub rail it turned it white so using it on the gel coat I'm sure it will peel something away from it as well. Ended up replacing all the Upholstry because of it
