Thanks! I do have a quick question though, does anyone know where to buy dash panels for these? I need the panel that houses the switches on the right hand side.

It's the boats only flaw and it kills me!

I don't know about your boat; but I found a set for my boat here:

Perhaps they have yours also.

I know this has been discussed before, but my MCOCD requires that I bring it up again...how many of you other Maristar owners have a sort of "grinding" noise, (like a spoon running at slow speed in a garbage disposal) when your boat is in slow idle?

I thought I read a year or so ago that this was normal for some Maristars and that you could use engine oil to replace transmission fluid. I did that this year and it really hasn't help with the noise that much. Have any of you done anything different to stop the noise, or is it just a "live with it" kind of scenario? Also wondered what year of Maristars it seems to affect?

Yes. We have experienced that noise. It is sporadic. I replaced transmission fluid with oil and while it may be some better I simply choose to live with it.

Ours does it and the general consensus seems to be that it is normal.

So we are spending a week up at a resort in northern Minnesota. 9 people total. 3 children...4 adults...2 teenagers. We have wakeboarded, surfed, slalomed, and have comfortably enjoyed late night cruising. I really enjoy our maristar 210 with LTR, tower, fat sacs and perfect pass. She really is a great all-around family boat!!

Hello all, thought I might as well add some pictures of the 2000 Maristar 210VRS I just picked up from my neighbor. It was neglected as you can see from the pictures. I am completely new to inboards, and what better way to get my feet wet than with this project. The transmission seals are leaking, so Iím in the middle of pulling that out to replace the seals & repaint ( http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...ad.php?t=55683 ). Any input on what other things I should look at/replace while I have it out is appreciated.
Later,
Luke

gweaver has been doing custom panels for folks, see thread:

(He did some for my 94 Maristar 225 that I like!)

Hey MCMstar,

Nice boat! Are those Rev8s or Rev10s on your tower?
