The point of a breathable cover is to let moisture OUT with the cover on.
Cheaper covers will contain the super humid air not allowing drying and encouraging mold.

From my experience, even with Sunbrella, there needs to be air circulation and a warm week to dry completely. When I stored outside, the natural pumping motion of the cover moving from wind was enough. Now that I store inside, the metal building gets HOT but with little air circulation, I need to run a fan on low for a couple days if we were caught out in the rain, general watersports moisture is not a problem til shoulder seasons.

Agree, for watersports, people need to be standing on the platform til the heavy dripping has completed. They should be toweled before leaving the sun deck/ski locker. Wet vests go around the ski pylon on v-drive or wrapped in the prior used towel til dryer.
