Pretty sure it's a fishing spider. There are many different kinds. Just Google black fishing spider. You will find a match pretty quick.

Too funny of a picture of my fiance scared of geese surrounding the boat. What a pusswa

If your wondering why she has on that designer life jacket, we were about to pull into TJ Lock leaving lake Michigan to enter the start of the Chicago River. They won't open locks if vests aren't on already.

DO you take desplaines all the way in? How long is the ride? Were the geese trying to collect a toll?

No I launched in Summit Argo and drove in from there is about 25 minutes to Roosevelt Rd Bridge. (Thats where the no wake zone starts) All of DT is technically no wake.

The geese were clearly looking for handouts, surrounded both sides there were about 8 of them. They have learned from the rest of Chicago's citizens.

Would be cool so slalom under the bridges... but would not want the chicago river anywhere near my skin...
