Electrical

Hi, can anyone help....

I hooked the battery incorrectly...my bad. Now all accessories work but everything on right side of dask will not work. Blower, pump, nav lights, ingnition. I can by pass ingition to the starter and it turns over... I tried to reset breakers but it does not seem to help. Any ideas? Is there a fuseable link somewhere?

Joe,

I have the same boat. I don't recall there being any inline fuses for the accessories you described. If it were me, I'd start by gaining access to behind the dash. To do that, you need to pry the three black pegs up at the back of the plastic dash pod. Next, there are two small cross-tipped screws down where the steering wheel tilt lever is. Once you have all that out, you can pull the dash pod up and toward the rear of the boat (you may have to adjust the tilt setting on the steering wheel). Inspect all the wiring and make sure nothing melted or is shorted. Check to make sure if there are any inline fuses that they are not blown. If everything looks good, I'd use a voltmeter to see if you are getting power to those switches. It could be a power issue or a ground issue. The best thing to do is try and trace it out and look for the problem. I hope this helps.
