I am not positive. For what we pay for these boats you should be able to upgrade to the Fusion. From what I can tell, the only difference is the control head. The dash, etc is the exact same mold.

Why dont you just buy a wetsounds EQ and not worry about all that mess? seems like too much trouble. besides in my experience fusion kinda sucks

My local car/boat audio guy told me the fusion systems are the best available. Amazing sound quality over just about every other aftermarket head unit, especially Clarion. Would make sense that MC went with it, as they went with JL. We'll see first hand when my '14 gets here in late July.

The fusion control heads were designed for huge yachts. I would imagine rich people like nice stereo equipment.

I installed a Fusion Head Unit in my Dad's Deckboat earlier this year. It's decent, but I absolutely hate how the iPod loads into the unit itself. Maybe the one they're using is different?

comes with about a dozen holders that you put the device in then slide into the head unit, only problem, its setup for the old ipod connector and not "lightning"

Yes. The screen flips down, and mounts inside the HU like an 8-track. All controls are from the HU

But we got to admit that MC finally made it to get the new website/design a boat up and running with the model year change, not 4 months later. So at least in marketing some things are changing...
