2010 X2 Ballast filling for wakesurfing

I just installed a piggyback fly high system on back sides and front underseat on my X2. Any suggestions on how much ballast in each that works for you? I do have surftabs also if they would help. Tried last weekend and the wake is bigger but still all white washed and my son cant drop the rope.

Thanks

The wave sits up better on port. So I will describe that setup. The same applies for the starboard side though.

KGB full
Front piggyback bow sack half full (600lbs sac)

Starboard hardtank full
Starboard sac empty (450lbs sac)

Port hardtank full
Port sac full (450lbs sac)

Drive straight, into wind if possible. Try to find water depth greater than 30feet. Run the boat in RPM PP mode at the correct RPM to give you 9.3-9.6mph. This prevents surging.

Have a big guy sit on the port locker. And then split the crew 70% rear port seats and 30% bow port side. You should get something like this:

I see in some other threads that some people are filling the opposite side of surfer's hard tank full or half. Anyone tried this and good or bad results?

I find that a bit of weight in the opposite side lengthens the wave. You lose some steepness but a longer pocket is more useable. It's a delicate balance in the X-2.
