mdo817, nice XJ!! I used to have a '99 5spd with a 3" lift that was my DD. I wish I would have been able to keep it to run some long arms with more lift and chop the doors as you have done. You gotta be running beefy axles to conquer those boulders! Are they D44 or bigger?

Right, when I was 17 I had an 88 XJ with the good Dana axles. I had so many dreams. Ended up with a 3" rancho lift and blew up the trans running it through the river. Sold the axles and tires and scrapped the jeep

Mopars

My 73 Duster (work in eternal progress) and my friend's 72 Demon. Yes, the Demon needs a trans pan gasket.

I finally upgraded my trucks, wheels and bearings on my longboard. Figured I'd paint it while it was back to just a ski. Digging the black. It handles so much better now, I had some crummy narrow trucks and small wheels before. Used to be cream, orange and yellow - misplaced the Obrien fin cap, need to clean out the garage.

A work in progress. Piecing the car back together from boxes of parts and upgrading where I can. All new paint and plating. Converted from 5 lug wheels to knock-off hubs and wire wheels, all rebuilt engine/trans/power steering rack, 105 amp delco alternator and new big bore, stainless header and exhaust using the earlier Series I version, all polished. Hope to have it under it's own power this Fall. Complete rear drivetrain is out for a rebuild.

nice! I just inherited 71 demon....needs a fuel pump but is otherwise super clean. I'd like to upgrade the suspension and rims... been hanging out on the forabodiesonly.com forum but there isn't the same camaraderie like you get here.
