Exactly. The Ford 351w and 1.23:1 tranny were used for many years in Ski Nautiques- lots of prop experimenting has been done with it.

The RH engine and LH prop is a new one for me... Correct Craft did the exact opposite (LH engine and RH prop). Im curious if this was a standard Brendella set up or if a previous owner goofed something up.

I would consider going to more pitch than 14.5 with the gear ratio you have. We supplied Brendella with 14 X 16's as original equipment with that ratio. I would offer a 13.7 X 15.5 XMP for that set up.

I do have to take this statement back. I have got some replies from some nice people on that forum as well. This boat has killed my $ supply and has become frustrating at times, But I think I have got past all the major bad stuff. Can't wait to enjoy it.
