So, if no on the '96 then the '93 S&S has got to be the boat. The S&S is what a classic MC is all about, everything else is just another nice MC. Kinda like great grandmas 4dr 69 pea green malibu while uncle Vinny has got the '70 SS396 that everyone is after.

My 84 had 1600+ hours, and still ran strong. We were in that 2 kid range, and needed something a little bigger, so went to the 197. I do understand the fear about hours if you didn't put them on the boat. I had no issues with running my 84, because I new it had no issues, and used absolutely no oil. Good luck though. That 93 S&S is sweet.

Well guys, i just got back from Butler Pennsylvania. I drove from Madison, WI last night at about m I left town, got there at 5am, bought a 1991 tristar open bow with 700 hours on it for $7900. Just got it back home at about 9pm. What a long 24 hours. 1215 miles round trip! Now I'll work on getting it cleaned up a bit and get some pictures! Well under budget, so now I can get some extra goodies.

Congrats, I think you made the right choice. A little under budget and some extra dough for goodies. Can't wait to see it
