Well found out today that the water was not coming from the shaft it was coming from a busted check valve. Simple fix thanks for all the info though guys will have it replaced tomorrow morning.

Underneath the engine. I let the boat sit a few days so was completely dry and when we put in today I emptied the back so I could watch it and sure enough it was pouring in like a waterfall so I just shut main valve off and auto bilge never came on all day which was nice for a change lol

Looks like it froze. Maybe a little duct tape will seal it up.

Already put a new one on and replaced it. Just as FYI for everyone lowes has the same check valve that MasterCraft offers for $8 compared to $38 from MC. Don't really know how it froze when it was winterized and in a heated shop all winter but oh well it's fixed now
