Specs on those bolts are 20 inch pounds according to Indmar.
Inch pound torque screwdrivers aren't all that expensive. Do a search for Neiko on Amazon Their recommendation was first round at 10 inch pounds, then second round at 20 inch pounds Probably to technical probably. Or tighten until snug..... |

Same thing happened to me first time out this year. I had under tightened the cover screws.
Frank is right about the appearance of the screws- it is from the cover moving around once loose. Luckily I had new screws in the boat, so it wasn't a big deal. Just need to tighten the screws a little more and you'll be fine!
