My daughter turned 8 a couple weeks ago...she was begging to get a wakeboard. Finally got a chance to try it out today...she got up after her 3rd try, I was pretty impressed! If it wouldn't have been windy and rough with cold water, she probably would have ridden all afternoon. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I OWN A BOAT!!!

Happy Father's Day guys!

This was just weird. Late in the day, we were tired, and decide to just do stupid stuff. One example: We put The Boy on a board that was for a large rider, pulled him into the pocket, and he stayed right there for the full length of the run (approx 4 miles) and the 180 degree turn and return. He's never wake surfed, but he figured it out. Clearly, he was having fun.

The Rest of The Year:

The Boy's First Race on his Sister's Handmedown

And, of course, when the water is frozen:

I could go on and on, with all the team sports pics, etc., etc., etc., but I won't bore you. We're all so lucky to have fun kids. I look forward to the day when The Nuggets can pull me (and start pitching in for gas).

My kids are just getting used to the boat (so am I) but so far they love it. Being 4 and 6 (just turned) I haven't gotten them on a board yet. Few times on a tube (don't hate) but we are getting there. Shoot, I haven't even been able to surf it yet!!!

Not bored here. Great pics. You're doing it right.
